February Round-Up
See what’s new for 2022!
Babes in the Wool has had tonnes of deliveries over the last week, and we have lots of exciting additions to share with you. As 2022 marks the 40th anniversary of our family business, we’ve been making an effort to find new products that we think you’ll love and that we’ve never stocked before. From interesting yarns to mindful make craft kits, keep reading to see what’s new in our wool shop…
First up is Katia's Boomer, a u-shaped yarn that comes in a tangle-free design. You may have heard of O’Go by Yarnspirations; Boomer is the same concept but by a different brand. The yarn comes in a horseshoe shape instead of a ball to make it easier to use. You don’t need to waste time looking for the end of the yarn or pulling strands out of the middle. This user-friendly design also means you won’t have to worry about the yarn getting tangled as you go along.
Boomer features a quick-start end and splits into 5 versatile colours, which are available in 4 combinations for £11.95 each. This acrylic/wool mix packs a powerful value. At 320m, one horseshoe makes a whole children's jumper, and three of them can knit/crochet into a full women's cardigan.

Next up we have another beautiful product from Katia. This craft kit gives you the choice of both knit and crochet baby blankets. The kit includes the pattern for the crochet version, and the knit version will be released as a KAL in the coming weeks.
This project is called the Bunny Blanket in Wonderland KAL, and is comprised of 16 squares and 8 different stitch patterns. The KAL is scheduled to start on February 23rd 2022, with 2 stitches released each week for four weeks. Check out the crochet version below!
