You will need:
King Cole’s Tinsel Chunky Yarn in 2 shades of your choice (click here)
6mm hook
Toy Stuffing
Wool Sewing Needle
Instructions: Half and Half Bauble
With 6mm hook and Shade A, Ch3 and join into a ring with a ss.
Round 1: 6dc into the ring (6 sts)
Round 2: 2dc in each st around (12)
Round 3: *1dc in next st, 2dc in next st* repeat around (18)
Round 4: *1dc in next 2 st, 2dc in next st* repeat around (24)
Round 5: *1dc in next 3 st, 2dc in next st* repeat around (30)
Rounds 6-9: dc around (NOTE: at the end of round 7, change to Shade B for round 8 and onwards)
Round 10: *1 dc in next 3 st, dc2tog* repeat around (24)
Round 11: *1 dc in next 2 st, dc2tog* repeat around (18)
Start adding toy stuffing to your bauble.
Round 12: *1 dc in next st, dc2tog* repeat around (12)
Round 13: dc2tog around (6)
Round 14: dc2tog around (3)
Fasten off with a tail long enough to create a loop to hang your bauble and darn in the end.
Instructions: Stripe Bauble
With 6mm hook and Shade A, Ch3 and join into a ring with a ss.
Round 1: 6dc into the ring (6 sts)
Round 2: 2dc in each st around (12)
Round 3: *1dc in next st, 2dc in next st* repeat around (18)
Round 4: *1dc in next 2 st, 2dc in next st* repeat around (24)
Round 5: *1dc in next 3 st, 2dc in next st* repeat around (30)
Change to Shade B.
Rounds 6-9: dc around
Change to Shade A.
Round 10: *1 dc in next 3 st, dc2tog* repeat around (24)
Round 11: *1 dc in next 2 st, dc2tog* repeat around (18)
Start adding toy stuffing to your bauble.
Round 12: *1 dc in next st, dc2tog* repeat around (12)
Round 13: dc2tog around (6)
Round 14: dc2tog around (3)
Fasten off with a tail long enough to create a loop to hang your bauble and darn in the end.
