It’s always good fun in our yarn shop when the seasons are changing. Different companies release their new collections, and we have colourful deliveries arriving left and right. This week’s new arrival is Giggles DK, a multicolour acrylic from Wendy Yarns. Giggles has certainly brightened up our shop in time for spring - let’s take a closer look at this yarn!
Giggles is a double knitting yarn that comes in 10 fantastic shades. We’re stocking the whole range as these colourways look great, and the yarn is really good value for money. It’s £3.50 per ball and there’s a whopping 360m on each ball. We crocheted up a sample piece and the finished square was 18 x 18 inches (46 x 46cm). One ball felt like a small blanket already!
The colour changes in Giggles are lovely, switching seamlessly between complimentary solid shades and forming gentle stripes. It really makes the finished piece eye catching and interesting to look at. The yarn itself is nice and soft to work with.
