This week we’re taking a look at one of our bestselling yarns: Shhh… Double Knit from James C. Brett. Shhh… was released late last year and became an instant favourite with our customers. As well as the vibrant multicolours and super soft texture, this yarn is also excellent value for money. Another element that makes this yarn great value is the material; it contains 20% wool which would usually increase the price a fair bit. The other 80% is acrylic, making for a soft mix that is lovely to work with. Most of our customers who have used this yarn for their knitting and crochet projects usually end up coming back for more as they enjoyed working with it so much!
The colourways in this range really do catch your eye. Some are a mix of brights, some contain neutrals, and all of them pattern up beautifully. We currently stock 10 shades of Shhh… DK and we are constantly having to restock as they fly off the shelves so quickly.
Your finished makes using Shhh… DK are machine washable up to 30°C and can lay flat to dry. This yarn is a great choice for snuggly accessories and blankets, and will work with any classic double knitting pattern that you have in mind.
